Has anybody been to Pinks recently? What was your experience?

I used to go a few years ago and was always impressed by the diversity, the courteous and friendly security staff and the great themed nights. However, I have heard that more recently the experience has not as welcoming or is this just odd issue.

Does anybody have any recommendations for other trans friendly venues? Why not post any suggestions here.
