For reliable and unbiased news stories from around the world on LGBTQ issues try LGBTQ Nation, an online American based news organisation. I particularly like the 'Good News' and 'Bias Watch' sections calling out the heart warming stories and those focused on portraying the LGBTQ community in a negative way.

Has anybody been to Pinks recently? What was your experience? I used to go a few years ago and was always impressed by the diversity, the courteous and friendly security staff and the great themed nights. However, I have heard that more recently the experience has not as welcoming or is this just odd issue. Does anybody have any recommendations for other trans friendly venues?
